Active Listening – The Kids Perspectives

Intentional Parenting, Mormon Faith Transition

Learning and practicing the components of active listening has changed our family dynamics in positive ways…actually, it’s changed all of our relationships!

When I teach coaching clients the principles of active listening they, often report back that implementing active listening has helped them to:

*create a greater closeness and connection in relationships
*cultivate safe conversations that once felt problematic
*feel more seen and understood
*more capable of understanding others without feeling triggered
*less worried about engaging in challenging conversations
*positive outcomes throughout and after conversations

Tune into this video to hear three of our kids share their experiences about practicing active listening.
